Morton Hospital "First Friday" Lecture - 8am - Silver

Depression and its effects on the mind and body
Sponsored by the Hospital in
collaboration with the Silver City Galleria and its Mall
Walkers Program.
The
Mall Walkers Program is a fun, easy way to stay healthy
and fit, and the Galleria provides a climate-controlled
environment perfect for walking. Morton Hospital
provides breakfast and information on a variety of
health topics on the first Friday of each month. All
mall walkers and visitors are welcome to attend free of
charge.
Joyce
Curtin, RN, Morton Hospital Elder Behavioral Health
Services (EBHS) Program Director, will host the
September lecture, which will feature a discussion about
depression and its effects on the mind and body.

TREASURE HUNT AT WINSLOW FARM - 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Winslow Farm Animal
Sanctuary, located at 37 Eddy Street in Norton, will be holding
KIDS DAY on Saturday, September 5 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Kids can enjoy our annual Treasure
Hunt, crafts and games, face painting and more. Admission is $7.00
for both adults and children; kids under 2 are free. Pony rides
will be available for an additional $5.00.

The Taunton Area Chamber’s first Business
After Hours of the Fall season will be hosted by Wynn &
Wynn, P.C. on Thursday, September 10 from 5:00 to
7:00 p.m. Their offices are located at 90 New State
Highway, Raynham.
Food will be provided by The
Jockey Club and there will be a cash bar available. Bring
your business cards to enter in the raffle drawing!

Railroad Club of Raynham, MA - 8th Annual Model Railroad Show and
Sale - 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Holiday Inn
The Old Colony Model
Railroad Club of Raynham, MA will hold it's eighth annual model
railroad show and sale. The show will be held at the Taunton
Holiday Inn on Myles Standish Blvd in the Myles Standish
Industrial Park in Taunton, Exit 9 from Route 495, from 10:00 AM
to 3:30 PM. Admission is $4 for Adults, children under 12 and
scouts in uniform, free.
Food
and beverage will be available for sale. Show is handicapped
accessible and there is plenty of free parking. Dealers from
Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine will be
present. A number of operating layouts will be on display. For
